Katie Herchenroeder has joined The New Republic as a reporter-researcher fact-checking articles for its print magazine and providing reporting and research for the editorial team.
She has also worked freelance with her bylines appearing in Vice, the New York Daily News, Quartz, BKLYNER, and the New York City Service, among others. She has also interned at Vice and MSNBC.
She also served as editor-in-chief of The Campus Media in New York.
Herchenroeder has an M.A. in international journalism from Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY.
