New Orleans CBS station WWL-TV Ch. 4 has hired Brandon Walker as a morning newscast anchor. Recently, he was an anchor/reporter at Houston NBC station KPRC-TV Ch. 2, where he worked for more than eight years.
Previously, Walker was a reporter/anchor at News 12 Networks, and served as a reporter/fill-in-anchor at YNN Albany at Time Warner Cable. He also held the posts of intern, page and broadcast associate at CBS News.
He also worked as an assignment editor at ABC New Orleans station WGNO-TV Ch. 26.
Walker has a B.A. in history from Carleton College in Minnesota and a M.S. in journalism from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.

The station has also hired Brheanna Boudreaux as a morning newscast anchor. She will join from Houston’s ABC outlet KTRK-TV Ch. 13, where she held the posts of reporter, traffic reporter and anchor.
Boudreaux worked as an anchor/reporter at Norfolk, Va. CBS outlet WTKR-TV Ch. 3, and as a morning news anchor at KELO-TV Ch. 11, a CBS- and MyNetworkTV-affiliate in Sioux Falls, S.D.
She also held the posts of multimedia journalist, weekend anchor and producer at KLFY-TV Ch. 10, a CBS affiliate in Lafayette, La.
Boudreaux has a B.S. in broadcast journalism and sports communications from James Madison University in Virginia.
