Maggie Haberman, a White House correspondent who joined The New York Times in 2015, will be bringing her relentless energy, news-breaking skills and talent for getting behind the scenes to two new assignments.
First, Haberman will join the investigative/enterprise team in the Washington bureau to help land stories and projects about the new administration. Second, she will continue to work with the Politics desk.
Prior to coming to the Times as a campaign correspondent, Haberman was a political reporter at Politico. She has also worked for other publications, including The New York Post and The New York Daily News.
Haberman was part of a team that won a Pulitzer Prize in 2018.
