Briony Sowden has joined NBCUniversal as a multimedia producer. Recently, she was at BBC News, where she worked for more than seven years.
At the BBC, Sowden served in various roles, including broadcast journalist, reporter for World Service Radio, senior producer and senior multiplatform journalist.
She also worked as a producer at Sky News and as a journalist at Al Jazeera. She freelanced for CNN.
Sowden graduated from Auckland University of Technology in New Zealand.
