NBC News has named Julie Tsirkin a congressional correspondent to cover daily happenings on Capitol Hill. Previously, she covered Capitol Hill as a field producer and off-air reporter.
Tsirkin interned at MSNBC, where she was also an anchor and digital producer, as well as part of the 2018 election team. She also interned at Rutgers Council on Public and International Affairs.
Tsirkin graduated from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, N.J.
