Gibson joined NBC News in November 2020 as an interim Washington editor and was previously a Washington correspondent at Thomson Reuters. She was a senior political writer at the International Business Times.
Gibson was a congressional correspondent/national political reporter at Politico and a statehouse bureau reporter at The Star-Ledger.
Gibson has a bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University and a master’s degree from George Mason University.
