NBC News promotes Gibson to senior D.C. editor

Ginger Gibson

NBC News has appointed Ginger Gibson senior Washington editor. Recently, Gibson served as deputy Washington digital editor.

Gibson joined NBC News in November 2020 as an interim Washington editor and was previously a Washington correspondent at Thomson Reuters. She was a senior political writer at the International Business Times.

Gibson was a congressional correspondent/national political reporter at Politico and a statehouse bureau reporter at The Star-Ledger.

Gibson has a bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University and a master’s degree from George Mason University.
