NBC News has appointed Allie Raffa to the post of White House correspondent. Previously, Raffa held the post of Capitol Hill correspondent.
In her new role, Raffa will work with chief White House correspondents Peter Alexander and Kristen Welker. She was a general assignment reporter at KNSD-TV Ch. 39, which airs programming from the NBC network.
She worked at Fox News for five years, holding various posts that included multimedia reporter and campaign embed/political reporter.
Raffa has a B.A. from Florida International University.
