NBC News has appointed Laura Jarrett co-anchor of the network’s Saturday edition of the morning progr”Today.” She begins on Sept. 9.
As a senior legal correspondent, Jarrett covers the U.S. Department of Justice and the U.S. Supreme Court. She also provides analysis of law enforcement and crime stories.
She joined NBC News from CNN, where she worked for six years. There, she also co-anchored the daily morning program “Early Start.”
Jarrett has also worked for a Chicago law firm.
Jarrett graduated from Harvard Law School.
