Melanie Zanona
NBC News DC bureau chief Ken Strickland sent out the following:
All,
I’m happy to share that Melanie Zanona will join our bureau as a Capitol Hill Correspondent, beginning Monday, February 10th.
Many of our colleagues in Washington know Melanie well — she’s an award-winning journalist with over a decade of experience breaking news from Capitol Hill. Melanie has covered some of the most consequential storylines in Washington, including two presidential impeachments, multiple historic speakership battles and nearly half a dozen election cycles on the campaign trail. She was most recently reporting for Punchbowl News and has previously covered Congress for CNN and Politico.
Melanie joins our distinguished Capitol Hill unit, led by Ryan, along with Julie, Scott, Sahil, and our producing and research team. Please join me in welcoming Melanie to NBC News.
