Lucia Walinchus will join NBC News as a data editor for its television stations. She will begin on May 1.
Walinchus will provide support to stations in Philadelphia, L.A., New York, San Diego, Connecticut, Houston, New York, Chicago, Boston, Dallas/Forth Worth, and the Bay area.
Recently, Walinchus served as the executive director of the Ohio Centre for Journalism. There, she developed stories and wrote longform journalism for the site and its affiliates among other tasks.
She also started her freelance reporting business Professional News Services, LLC, which specialized in legal and business news.
Walinchus has a B.A. from American University in Washington D.C.
