Brandy Zadrozny, a senior reporter at NBC News, has taken on the role of politics reporter. She joined NBC News in March 2018.
Previously, Zadrozny was a reporter and senior researcher at The Daily Beast. She also worked as a news librarian and researcher at both Fox News and ABC News.
Zadrozny herself made headlines in 2020 when Fox personality Tucker Carlson devoted an entire segment to attacking her, based on her work exposing Darren Beattie, a former speechwriter for President Trump who left the White House in 2018 after he had attended a conference that included white nationalists.
The fallout from Carlson’s episode jeopardized Zadronzy’s safety for a time. Meanwhile, Carlson’s own credibility has come into question based on an ongoing suit between Fox and Dominion Voting Systems.
