NationalWorld has tapped Ralph Blackburn as a politics editor. He joined in August 2022 as head of news.
Previously, Blackburn served as editor of LondonWorld at JPIMedia and was a chief reporter at Triangle News Group, where he produced daily news stories for a range of clients including the Mirror and the Times.
He has also worked at Guardian News & Media, Archant, The Independent on Sunday and The Independent.
He was a trainee at Press Association.
Blackburn has a B.A. from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne and is an NCTJ-certified journalist.
