National World has tapped Michael Broomhead to serve as a senior digital journalist for Derby World, which is part of an expansion by the publisher in the East Midlands.
Previously, Broomhead worked at National World for 13 years.
Recently, he was at Reach plc but had taken a voluntary buyout after Reach announced that is would be eliminate 192 journalism roles.
Broomhead said:
“It’s a really exciting time to be rejoining National World plc. It’s fantastic to be part of the family again. We’re going to make Derby World a success and offer a fresh perspective. I’m very much looking forward to this new journalistic journey.”
