National World appoints Wheatley football content editor

Chris Wheatley

Chris Wheatley has joined National World as a football content editor. He will cover “Premier League clubs with a particular focus on Arsenal, exclusive transfer news and interviews.”

Wheatley works across National World titles in Liverpool, Newcastle and Birmingham.

Recently, he was head of media at English professional football club Nottingham Forest FC and chief Arsenal reporter at Reach plc.

Wheatley has freelanced for The Independent and The Daily Mirror.

Wheatley has a B.A. from the University for the Creative Arts in Farnham, England.
