National Geographic Traveller taps Canning to serve as deputy editor

Amanda Canning

Amanda Canning has joined National Geographic Traveller as deputy editor. She is the founding editor and publisher at Good Place Magazine, an independent travel magazine.

Canning freelanced for The Times, Times Travel, The Telegraph, The Independent, National Geographic Traveller, and Lonely Planet.

She also worked at Lonely Planet for 12 years as an assistant editor and deputy editor.

Canning has a B.A. from the University of Cambridge.
