Michael Greshko, a science writer at National Geographic has been laid off. His tweet reads:
“My ride at National Geographic will come to an end in June. My job has been eliminated in Disney’s latest round of layoffs.
“I’ve had a great run. I started as an intern in 2015 and came onto the staff in early 2016. I’m extraordinarily grateful for every opportunity I’ve had ever since.
“Now, to plug myself: I write on multiple beats and have worked on everything from Ellie-winning features to Webby honoree social campaigns. I’ve got deep analytics and project management experience. If I can help your newsroom starting this fall, let me know!”
Previously, interned at the American Institute of Physics and was a guest blogger at The New York Times.
