David Rodriguez Muñoz has joined the Detroit Free Press as a staff photographer. Recently, Muñoz was a staff photojournalist at The Salinas Californian, Gannett | USA Today Network.
Previously, Muñoz was a contributing photographer at the Santa Cruz Sentinel and at the Monterey County Weekly, where he also interned.
Muñoz was part of the John S. Knight Journalism Fellowship at Stanford University.
Muñoz has a B.A. from San Francisco State University.
