Mumbrella names Kruimel managing editor

Mumbrella has appointed experienced marketer and journalist Olivia Kruimel to the post of managing editor, news and analysis.

In this role, Kruimel will lead the editorial component of the content team, managing the news agenda for Mumbrella and the curation of the daily newsletter. She will also contribute to the Mumbrellacast, Mumbrella’s range of industry conferences and other Mumbrella content initiatives.

Previously, Kruimel was senior marketing manager, transaction banking, at Standard Charted Bank, based in Singapore.

She also worked as a community member at ICON and was with Clyde & Co LLP for more than 3 years, joining as a marketing and communications manager.

She has also worked as a media and communications consultant at DLA Piper and as a manager, external communications at Holding Redlich.

Kruimel has also served as a journalist at Thomson Reuters Australia and Key media.

Additionally, she has also worked at Reed Business Information and Fairfax Media.

Kruimel is a B.A. in communications and journalism from the University of Technology, Sydney.
