Muldowney joins the Daily Beast as a researcher/reporter

The Daily Beast has hired Decca Muldowney as a researcher/reporter. Recently, Muldowney was a fact-checker at Brooklyn-based Pineapple Street Media.

Muldowney was an investigative researcher at Reveal from the Center for Investigative Reporting. She freelanced for ProPublica, The Verge, The Indypendent and The Real Deal.

Muldowney has a B.A., M.Phil. and PhD. from the University of Cambridge. She also has an M.S. from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
