Missouri TV station hires Phillips as assistant news director

Kalup Phillips

KFVS-TV Ch. 12, a CBS- and CW-affiliate in Cape Girardeau, Mo., has appointed Kalup Phillips as an assistant news director.

Recently, Phillips was a news director at WBKO-TV Ch. 13, affiliated with ABC, Fox and CW Plus, and located in Bowling Green, Ky. Previously, he worked at KAIT-TV Ch. 8, an ABC, NBC and CW Plus affiliate in Jonesboro, Ark.

There, he held the posts of news producer, executive producer and assistant news director.

Phillips graduated from Arkansas State University.
