Talya Minsberg, an assistant sports editor on The New York Times sports desk, has moved to Well to cover fitness and sports. The move marks the latest in a reorganization of the sports desk, which the Times dissolved in handing off all coverage to The Athletic.
In more than decade at the Times, Minsberg has held the posts of community news assistant, social media news assistant, social strategy editor and senior staff editor for special projects.
Previously, she interned at CNN and the Jerusalem Post.
Minsberg has a B.A. in journalism and Hebrew from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
