Rilyn Eischens, an education and data journalist at the Minnesota Reformer has left for an opportunity outside journalism. A part of her Tweet reads:
“I’ll still be here in the Twin Cities, and I’m excited to be starting a new job as a data viz specialist with the state’s Olmstead Implementation Office so stay tuned for charts galore!”
Previously, Eischens was an education journalist at The News Leader in Staunton, Va. and has interned at the San Antonio Express-News and Minneapolis Star Tribune. She also interned via the Dow Jones News Fund at the Cedar Rapids Gazette.
Eischens has a B.A. in journalism from the University of Minnesota.
