Previously, Ware worked in Michigan as a crime reporter for the Livingstone County Daily Press & Argus, as a news reporter for Petoskey News-Review, where she won multiple awards from the Michigan Press Association and Associated Press Media Editors.
Ware graduated from Central Michigan University, where she reported for the student newspaper Central Michigan Life.
