Micklethwaite departs GB News for new opportunity

Jamie Micklethwaite, a deputy news editor at GB News has left and joined as a deputy editor.

Micklethwaite will cover crime and courts, science, tech, immigration, the police, the environment, climate change and UK politics, focused on future events.

Previously, he worked at Express Newspapers as an overnight news reporter, overnight editor and assistant news editor. He also reported for the Evening Standard, SWNS Media Group and Newsquest.

Micklethwaite has a B.A. from the University of Sheffield.
