Miami’s Fox TV station hires Royer as anchor/reporter

Jack Royer

Jack Royer will join Fox affiliate WSVN-TV Ch. 7 in Miami as an anchor and reporter. His post on X/Twitter reads:

“Thank you to the wonderful 7 News team for making it possible to join such a legendary station. I am honored.”

Recently, Royer held the same post at two Tampa stations, NBC outlet WFLA-TV Ch. 8 and CW affiliate WTTA-TV Ch. 38. He also served as weekend anchor/reporter and main anchor at WIAT-TV Ch. 42, a CBS affiliate in Birmingham.

He also worked as a reporter, multimedia journalist and main anchor at WVUA-TV Ch. 23, a low-power station in Tuscaloosa, Ala.

Royer graduated from the University of Alabama.
