Before that, she was a commercial real estate reporter at Silicon Valley Business Journal. She has also worked as a regional planning and transit reporter at Finance and Commerce.
She has also freelanced for Star Tribune and interned at 10 Missions Media, Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal and Headwaters Foundation for Justice.
Bitters was also a reporter at The Minnesota Daily.
Bitters is a B.A. in journalism from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities.
