Sofia Delgado has joined Metro.co.uk has deputy head of audience. Previously, Delgado was at Newsquest, where she worked as a regional audience and content editor and recently as head of new digital platforms and tools.
She was a senior reporter and digital editor at ThisMuchIKnow, a new mobile-first media company. She also held editorial roles at Built It Magazine in the U.K. and was a digital journalist at Express Newspapers.
Delgado has a B.A. from Kingston University.
