Metro.co.uk journalist Yeates goes freelance

Cydney Yeates

Cydney Yeates, an assistant TV editor at Metro.co.uk, has left to go freelance. She had been with the title since October 2018.

Previously, Yeates held the posts of online TV reporter and senior entertainment reporter. She was an online TV reporter at The Daily Star and has worked at The Oxford Mail, The Sun News UK and MTV Viacom.

Yeates graduated from the University of Liverpool and did her National Council for the Training of Journalists studies in news reporting.
