Mendocino Voice taps Peterson to cover county government

Lucy Peterson

Lucy Peterson will join The Mendocino Voice as a Report for America corps member to cover government in Mendocino County, California.

Peterson had worked as a statehouse reporting intern at the Kansas City Star since January. Before that, she was a Dow Jones news fund business reporting intern at the BusinessDen.

Peterson is pursuing her B.S. in journalism from the University of Kansas, where she also edited and reported for the student paper, The University Daily Kansan.
