The Times Record, the daily newspaper in Fort Smith, Arkansas, has appointed Robert Medley as editor. Previously, he served as managing editor at the Yukon Progress, the Piedmont-Surrey Gazette and the Okarche Warrior, weekly papers in Oklahoma.
Medley began his career in 1987 as a reporter at the Wichita Falls Times Record News. He then joined The Oklahoman in 1989, where he worked for the next three decades. There, he held various posts, starting on the metro desk.
Medley holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma and earned a master’s degree from Oklahoma City University.
