Euan McGrory has been named editor in chief of City World Newspapers to see the strategic development of newspapers, including the Edinburgh Evening News, Yorkshire Evening Post and the Sheffield Star. Recently, McGrory served as editor of the Edinburgh Evening News.
He was editor and deputy editor of The Scotsman, Scotland on Sunday and Edinburgh Evening News.
Previously, he worked as an assistant news editor, deputy news editor, news editor and head of content at Edinburgh Evening News. He was a staff reporter, deputy chief regional reporter and deputy news editor at the Northern Echo.
McGrory has a B.A. from the University of Leeds.
