Lauren McGaun, an assistant news editor at ITV News, has left and joined BBC News as a freelance journalist to work across various programs, including “Politics Live,” “Newsnight” and “BBC Parliament.”
Previously, McGaun interned at Channel 4 News and freelanced for BBC Radio Lincolnshire. She also interned at and freelanced for BBC Radio Nottingham. She held the posts of contributing writer, news editor and head of news at Impact Magazine, University of Nottingham’s student magazine.
McGaun has a B.A. in politics and American studies from the University of Nottingham.
