Mayer swaps MyLondon for the Telegraph

James Mayer

James Mayer has joined The Telegraph as a social media editor. Recently, he held the same post at MyLondon, where he joined in July 2021 as a local democracy reporter.

Mayer was also a local democracy reporter at The Lincolnite. He has contributed to The Indiependent and worked as an election night runner at Sky News. He served as a trainee at PA Media and gained work experience at Sky News.

Mayer has a B.A. in English and politics from the University of York.
