MassLive hires Lavery to cover Worcester

Trea Lavery

Trea Lavery, a news reporter at the Lowell Sun in Lowell, Mass. has left and will join MassLive to cover Worcester.

She begins on May 2.

Lavery has reported for Essex Media Group in Lynn and the Boston Guardian in Boston. She was also a staff reporter at the Bay State Banner in Dorchester, Mass. and a news reporter at The Patriot Ledger in Quincy, Mass.

Lavery has a B.A. in journalism from Northeastern University.
