José Martínez will join the CBS News team as a reporter to cover the Bay Area in San Francisco. Martínez will begin on Jan. 3.
Recently, Martínez was a TV news reporter and news anchor at WFMZ-TV Ch. 69, an independent TV station in Allentown, Pa.
He was also a TV news reporter at NY1 News and was a City Hall and NYPD reporter for El Diario de Nueva York, the biggest daily newspaper in Spanish covering New York City.
Martínez graduated from Universidad de Cartagena – Colombia.
