Magallán joins Texas Univision station as anchor

Hugo Magallán

Hugo Magallán has returned to KNVO-48 [in McAllen, Tex.] as an anchor for the launch of a midday news program.

Airing weekdays on McAllen’s Entravision-owned Univision affiliate, “Al día a Medio día” made its debut on Tuesday, May 30.

Magallán co-anchors the show with Leticia De León.

The program will be broadcast across several Entravision markets.

Magallán was most recently weekday news anchor for KRGV-TV’s Spanish-language newscasts.

He was previously a weekend anchor at Telemundo 40 McAllen from 2014 to 2018. Before that, he spent six years at KNVO-48 Univision McAllen.
