Scott MacFarlane will be joining CBS News as a congressional correspondent. Previously, he was a reporter for NBC Washington, where he worked for over 8 years.
He also served as fill-in host for Sirius/XM’s POTUS channel, which featured a unique blend of news writing, news delivery, interviews, talk segments and enterprising. He has also worked as a Washington correspondent at Cox Media.
MacFarlane graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in broadcast journalism and political philosophy.
