Morgan Watkins will join Louisville Public Media as a health reporter. She comes she was at the city’s Courier Journal, where she worked for more than six years.
Watkins held the posts of state enterprise reporter, University of Louisville/higher education reporter, and most recently as chief political reporter.
At the Gainesville Sun, Watkins worked as a county government reporter, city reporter and crime/public safety reporter . She was a Pulliam fellow at The Indianapolis Star and interned at the Society of Professional Journalists.
Watkins graduated from the University of Florida.
