Los Angeles Daily News names Tat city hall reporter

Linh Tat

The Los Angeles Daily News has promoted Linh Tat to L.A. city hall reporter. Recently, she was an education reporter.

Prior to joining the Los Angeles Daily News, Tat freelanced. She covered K-12 and higher education in New Jersey for Politico and reported for The Record (North Jersey Media Group).

She reported on city hall, education, and cops and crime for the Bay Area News Group, with stories featured in The (Fremont) Argus, Oakland Tribune, San Jose Mercury News and Contra Costa Times.

Tat has a B.A. University of California, Los Angeles from and a M.S. from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
