Local Government Chronicle hires Knott as acting news editor

Jonathan Knott

Jonathan Knott has joined Local Government Chronicle as an acting news editor.

Previously, he was deputy editor at ArtsProfessional.

Knott was also a freelance technical copywriter at MRM Meteorite and has written news and features for publications including the Museums Journal, Public Finance, the Guardian, Sunday Telegraph, and BBC Travel as a freelance journalist.

He has also worked as a staff writer at the Museums Association and as a writer at Muse Publishing. He was also a copywriter at Travelex and a web editor at Outdoor Swimming Society. Knott has also served as a research editor at PoliticsHome.

Knott is a graduate of the University of Oxford.
