Gabrielle Lewis will join the Frederick News-Post as a health, environment and Fort Detrick reporter. Her tweet reads:

Recently, Lewis was a diversions editor at The Diamondback, the University of Maryland’s student newspaper. There, she also held the posts of copy editor, copy chief, assistant managing editor and deputy diversions editor.
She was a data and graphics reporter at Capital News Service and reported for the Howard Center for Investigative Journalism at the University of Maryland.
Lewis has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland.
