The Hill has hired Ella Lee as a staff writer on its courts team. Since June 2021, she has been at USA Today, where she joined as a politics and Washington fellow and recently served as a politics reporter.

Previously, Lee interned at USA Today and the Chicago Sun-Times. She worked as a production assistant at both NBC Chicago and WTTW-TV Ch. 11, a PBS-member station in the Windy City.
