The Hill has hired Ella Lee as a staff writer on its courts team. Since June 2021, she has been at USA Today, where she joined as a politics and Washington fellow and recently served as a politics reporter.
Previously, Lee interned at USA Today and the Chicago Sun-Times. She worked as a production assistant at both NBC Chicago and WTTW-TV Ch. 11, a PBS-member station in the Windy City.
Lee completed her bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa and DePaul University, where she held various posts at the student newspaper The Depaulia, including managing editor.
