Jakob Lazzaro, a senior reporter and assignment editor at WVPE-FM 88.1, NPR’s member station in Michigan, has left. Lazzaro joined the station in June 2021 as a reporter and assignment editor.
Lazzaro joins WESA-FM 90.5, NPR’s news station in Pittsburgh, on Dec. 1.
Lazzaro, who interned at NPR and CalMatters, has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University, where he was executive editor of the student newspaper, The Daily Northwestern.
