Katie Thomas has returned from maternity leave and rejoined Marie Claire in her original role as senior beauty editor. Acting senior beauty editor Shannon Lawlor has been appointed executive beauty editor.
Thomas had joined Marie Claire in March 2018. Previously, she worked as a beauty editor at InStyle, and held the posts of fashion assistant, beauty assistant and health/beauty associate at Tatler.
She also served as a fashion assistant at Condé Nast Brides Magazine. She interned at Vogue and The Daily Telegraph.
Thomas graduated from Bournemouth University.
Lawlor also freelances as a beauty editor and editorial consultant for WhoWhatWear, Glamour UK, Fabulous, Stylist, The Sun and Glamour UK. She also worked as a fashion assistant and junior writer for Fabulous Magazine.
Lawlor has a B.A. in fashion journalism from the University of the Creative Arts in England.
