Chaz Mootz, a sports director at Lakeland PBS, has left to join CCX Sports. He joined in June 2019 as a sports and news reporter.
Mootz wrote on Twitter:
“Bemidji and all of Northern Minnesota will always hold a special place in my heart! Thank you to everyone that I’ve met, I will miss you all!”
Previously, he interned at WAOW-TV Ch. 9, an ABC affiliate in Wisconsin.
Mootz has a B.S. from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
