LA Times welcomes back Beckman as features editor

Brittany Levine Beckman

The Los Angeles Times has hired Brittany Levine Beckman as a features editor. She previously worked as a City Hall reporter for the Times from July 2011 to August 2014.

Recently, she was at Mashable, where she worked for over 7 years. There, she served as an associate editor, deputy managing editor, and, most recently, as managing editor. She was also a reporter at The Orange County Register.

She was also an intern at washingtonpost.com.

Beckman has a B.A. in journalism and economics from The George Washington University.
