LA Times taps Baumann as deputy bureau chief for enterprise

Nick Baumann will join the Los Angeles Times as deputy bureau chief for enterprise in the Washington bureau. His begins his new role on June 13.

Currently, Baumann is a politics editor at The Atlantic, where he manages a team of reporters and editors focused on national politics. Prior to that, he was a senior enterprise editor at HuffPost. There he edited enterprise, investigations and features.

He was also a senior editor at Mother Jones and a blogger at The Economist, and has written for the Washington Monthly and Slate.

Baumann has a B.A. from Yale University.
