Amy Kaufman, a senior entertainment writer at the Los Angeles Times, has been named a columnist. With her new role, she has launched a new column “For Real with Amy Kaufman,” where she will “profile the icons, underdogs and rising stars shaping the culture,” as per her Tweet.
Kaufman has been with the Times since November 2009 when she joined as a staff writer. She reported for The Wrap and interned at The Wall Street Journal and The Los Angeles Times.
Kaufman has a B.A. from the University of Southern California.
