LA Times appoints Bryant deputy foreign and national editor

Rebecca Bryant

Rebecca Bryant has taken over the role of deputy foreign and national editor at the Los Angeles Times. Recently, she served as a deputy politics editor.

As deputy politics editor, Bryant oversaw the midterm elections coverage after a short stint with the Washington D.C. bureau. Previously, she worked on the 2020 presidential election coverage as an assistant editor, leading breaking news and live blogs.

She also conceptualized and edited enterprise stories. She also served as an assistant editor on the National/Foreign desk and the 2018 midterm elections staff.
