The Washington Post has hired Rachel Kurzius as a reporter for its “The Home You Own” initiative which is scheduled to launch this fall. Kurzius begins on Aug. 15.
She joins from WAMU-FM 88.5, where she was a host/reporter. She contributed to the Washington Post Magazine, Curbed, Washingtonian and the Washington City Paper. She worked as an associate editor and senior editor at DCist.com.
She also worked at Sirius XM Radio Inc. and Inside Mortgage Finance Publications.
Kurzius has a B.A. from Bates College.
